Following the November 22, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard has reflected on his position since the downfall of the JAS.

On last night’s episode Matt Menard, Angelo Parker & Jake Hager faced Orange Cassidy, Katsuyori Shibata & HOOK.
Menard’s team wouldn’t come out on top with the match seeing Danhausen making an appearance and cursing Hager.
Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story.
In the aftermath of the match, Daddy Magic shared his thoughts and he isn’t happy in the slightest, seemingly quitting the faction.

As can be seen from the Twitter post below, Menard has reflected on the match, the downfall of JAS and what he thought would happen in the wake of the decision, saying:
“Who knows what happened out there tonight? Who knows? What’s happened for the last six months? That’s what I want to know.
“You know, we left Chris Jericho in August, it wasn’t supposed to be like this.
“You know the balls, the balls, that it took to leave that man. You guys know the story, he gave me everything, everything.

“But at some point, at some point in everybody’s life, in everybody’s career, you realise you’ve reached a ceiling.
“You have to make a move… so that’s what we did. That’s what we did.
“But, I thought I was in a team with men. I thought I was in a team with a bunch of men. But, it’s dead.
“I find out that I’ve got one guy, a guy who wants to run around and b*tch…”

Clearly not happy with how things went in the match or in AEW since leaving Jericho, he then turned his attention to Angelo Parker, saying:
“And… we’ve got Angelo Parker, my friend… he’s running around like he’s never seen a woman in his life, like he’s never kissed a girl. Like his first time.
“Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Do you think I have this kind of time to waste? Do you?

“Look me in the eyes. Everyone on that team, everybody, do you think I have this time to waste? Run around kissing girls, run around dancing.
“I got a two-year-old son at home who depends on me to come home every week. Okay?
“I can’t let that boy down.”

Menard and Parker found themselves on the receiving ends of double submissions during the match, courtesy of Shibata and HOOK.
They later accompanied Anna Jay to the ring for her match, but Parker spent most of that time focusing on Ruby Soho instead of helping Jay.
