During the AEW Worlds End media call, Tony Khan revealed the names behind the booking of a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

Having been awarded ‘Booker of the Year’ for 2023 by Wrestling Observer, a decision that caused some derision, Khan remains the guiding mind in AEW.
That said, he recently revealed who had a voice in the December 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, saying:

“You had a great group with Bryan Danielson, Mike Mansury, Will Washington, Jimmy Jacobs, Sonjay Dutt, Sarah Stock and Dean Malenko and several others that were in my office throughout the day at various points.
“Bryan had his match, people were in and out, I think everybody had great points and there were a number of other people.”

He would also share his thoughts on ‘the experiments’ he’s currently using to shape AEW’s future, adding:
“I think the experiments we’ve been doing are working and I have a better sense of where to go and what to do going into 2024 than I ever have been.”

Khan recently reacted to the improved viewing figures for AEW Dynamite, thanking the team and the fans for their support.
AEW Worlds End takes place on Saturday December 30, 2023 in New York.
It was recently announced that an all-star eight-man tag match had been added to the card for the end-of-year show.
In the Zero Hour pre-show, a 20-man battle royale will take place for a future AEW TNT Championship match and Hook will defend his FTW Championship against Wheeler Yuta in an FTW Rules match.

The card for the show itself will see Eddie Kingston vs Jon Moxley in the AEW Continental Classic Championship Final while Julia Hart defends the AEW TBS Championship against Abadon and Riho challenges Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Championship action doesn’t end there with Christian Cage facing Adam Copeland for the AEW TNT Championship and MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe.
The rest of the card features the aforementioned eight-man tag match, Miro vs Andrade El Idolo, Swerve Strickland vs Keith Lee and the eight-man tag that sees Ricky Starks, Big Bill and The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher & Powerhouse Hobbs) taking on Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & the recently returned Sammy Guevara), Sting, and Darby Allin.
