The July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Mariah May defeat Willow Nightingale and betray Toni Storm in dramatic fashion.

With the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finals victory, May will go on to face Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All In on August 25, 2024.

Mina Shirakawa, who had previously feuded with Storm before facing her at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30, 2024, has now reacted to the moment.

Tweeting in the aftermath of the match on last night’s AEW Dynamite, Shirakawa said:

Shirakawa and Storm may have been feuding, but May was torn between who to support leading her to being there for both women at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Post match, the three seemed to be united in friendship, sharing a three-way kiss after Storm retained the AEW Women’s World Championship.

The men’s Owen Hart Tournament final saw Bryan Danielson defeat ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, going on to face AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and the upcoming London, England PPV.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite also saw matches set for the 250th episode of the series, including MJF and Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.
It has been reported that AEW Dynamite is seeing high-profile matches and angles due to the ongoing media rights negotiations with Warner Bros. Discover.
