The July 24 episode of AEW Dynamite had the Blood & Guts match as its main event and a touching fan moment after the cameras stopped rolling.
With the Blood & Guts highlights below this news story, the match would see Darby Allin head to AEW All In to face TNT Champion Jack Perry.
After the show ended, though, there was a touching moment for two AEW fans, overseen by Justin Roberts.
As can be seen below this news story, Roberts draws the crowd’s attention to two fans in the front row, asking:
“I can see you guys are standing on your feet but, sir, did you drop something?”
Clearly unaware of what was about to happen, the lady in question looks at her partner who reaches into his pocket as he gets down on one knee.
Revealing a ring in a box, he asks his shocked girlfriend to marry him with the enthusiastic crowd joining in the joyous moment.
She says yes, with the ring now on her finger and the fans applauding as the couple share a kiss.
We then get footage of the pair with the husband-to-be revealing that she did, indeed, say ‘yes’.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite also saw the debut of a new championship with MJF binning the International Championship and revealing the AEW American Championship.
