AEW star Bryan Danielson has provided a health update ahead of his return to the ring in the Continental Classic tournament.

Danielson is set to wrestle on Saturday’s (December 2) edition of Collision, slated to face off against Eddie Kingston in the Blue League of the Continental Classic.
This will be Danielson’s first match since teaming with Claudio Castagnoli to defeat Kazuchika Okada & Orange Cassidy on the October 25 episode of Dynamite.
Danielson has been dealing with a broken orbital bone injury since then, and has appeared on AEW TV wearing an eyepatch.
Speaking with Maggie & Perloff, Danielson revealed that he may have to wear an eyepatch of protective face covering of some kind when he competes.

He explained:
“I’m going to have to talk to the doctors.
“The benefit of wearing the eye patch is that, the bones are completely healed, but … I still have a little bit of double vision.

“If I take the eye patch off, I tend to get a little bit dizzy because of the motion of the eye.
“The eye patch stops me from getting dizzy. They may want me to wear a protective mask.
“We’ll see. It may end up being face mask with eye patch on top of the face mask.”

Following All Out 2023, Danielson announced that he’d have just one more year as a full-time wrestler, before transitioning into a part-time performer.
