An absent AEW star has filed to trademark their ring name and nickname on December 5 amid their absence from television.

AEW fans haven’t seen Jack Perry since AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, when he was defeated by Hook in the Kick-Off match for the FTW Championship.
The match featured the now infamous ‘real glass’ spot that led to the backstage altercation that ultimately led to CM Punk being terminated by AEW, and Perry being suspended from the company.
In an update, Perry’s company ‘Boy Myth Legend Inc.’ filed the trademark on both his real name and his former ‘Jungle Boy’ ring name on December 5.

The following descriptions accompanied the filings:
Mark For: JACK PERRY™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.
Mark For: JUNGLE BOY™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.

There has been speculation online that Perry may soon re-emerge on AEW television as the mysterious Devil targetting AEW World Champion MJF.
