MJF immediate AEW future plans revealed

The immediate plans for MJF have been revealed now that the former champion has lost the AEW World title to Samoa Joe.

To end tonight’s AEW Worlds End, not only did MJF lose his beloved AEW World title, he also lost his best friend Adam Cole.
As Adam Cole was revealed to be ‘The Devil’ along with his other masked pals revealed as the Kingdom (ROH Tag Team champions) Roderick Strong and Wardlow.

Now after the show comes a report about the former champ being granted some well deserved time off after his record setting title reign.
According to a report from Fightful Select, sources they spoke to believed that MJF would be taking time off to ‘heal up’ after a series of injuries have plagued him during this title reign.

While MJF was insistent on seeing the match through, his recent discussions of being in pain are very real.
The report notes that while MJF is very active in his creative could always insist on going a different route, it was generally understood that he would be off of television for a period of time after AEW Worlds End.
