A pair of AEW stars have reunited under their old WWE tag team name for a rare match at a recent event.
The fifth annual Chris Jericho Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea cruise event wrapped up it’s fifth and final day of matches in style last night (January 30) with a reunion of former WWE Tag Team Champions Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho & Paul Wight).
Competing alongside TNA Wrestling star ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, Wight and Jericho took on The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs along with Lance Archer – who was in place for the injured Mark Davis.
The match marked just the second time Jericho and Wight had teamed together in almost eight years, with the most recent instance being the Like A Dragon Street Fight on the November 15 edition of Dynamite; which was also the last time Wight competed on TV.
Full footage of Jeri-Show’s entrance can be seen at this link here, complete with their old WWE theme music.
MuscleMan Malcolm would also tweet a picture of the former WWE Tag Champions (see below), which seems to show Wight sporting an attire similar to one he wore during Jeri-Show’s peak.
Jericho’s feud with the Don Callis Family has been ongoing since the Summer of 2023; as of right now the former AEW Champion is not yet locked in to a match at the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view on March 3.
