Having been suspended following the February 14 2024 episode of AEW Rampage, Sammy Guevara has teased a return now that he’s been reinstated.
News that Guevara’s suspension had been lifted was revealed on May 10, 2024 with it being noted that “there’s no word” on when he would return to AEW television.
On May 22, Guevara shared a short video (that can be seen below) showing that he’s been back in the ring and training for a return.
With no news on when he’s going to be back on screen, he has now teased his return for the AEW Forbidden Door PPV on June 30, 2024.
With a ladder match announced for the vacant AEW TNT Championship, Guevara tweeted the possibility of his involvement, stating:

The tweet was accompanied, as can be seen below, by footage from the Undisputed AEW TNT Championship match on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite in 2022 which garnered a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer.

Guevara was suspended after facing Jeff Hardy on February 14, 2024, on AEW Rampage with it being reported that the action was taken as ‘concussion protocol was not followed.’
