AEW announcer and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has shared his advice to MJF to help him have a ‘better overall experience’ in his career.

MJF is set to face Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship on the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite which airs on July 17, 2024.
Ospreay delivered a cutting promo aimed at MJF on the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, taking shots at the ‘bidding war’ for MJF and his ‘selfish’ attitude toward the business.
This came a week after MJF attacked Daniel Garcia on AEW Dynamite Beach Break following Garcia’s loss to Ospreay.
Jim Ross recently addressed the standing of MJF and offered advice to the ‘young kid’ to help him enjoy the wrestling journey better.

Speaking on Grilling JR, Ross shared his insight into the 28-year-old’s progress as well as how he could avoid the pitfalls of his age, stating:
“Like any other young kid, he’s got to mature, he’s got to come along, his age has got to catch up with his experience.
“He’s very bright, very very bright and sometimes I think that he misuses his clout.

“He needs more patience with himself and he needs to understand that it’s not always about him, but it is more often than not.
“He’s really good, he’s very talented, I just think that he’s got to slow down sometimes and enjoy the journey.
“I don’t know how to put this but maybe sometimes he needs to take a deep breath and enjoy his journey. If he did, he’d probably have a better overall experience.”

In June 2024, MJF revealed the reason he chose to re-sign with AEW over moving to WWE.
He hasn’t ruled out a move to WWE in the future, however, but noted that he’s ‘making a ton of f**king money’ in AEW.
