The date and location of the upcoming AEW Dynamite and Collision Grand Slam shows has been announced following recent speculation.
AEW has run it’s Grand Slam special episodes of Dynamite in New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium every year since 2021.
Several months ago, it was reported that a big change would be coming to AEW Grand Slam, and that this year’s event would not be taking place at Arthur Ashe, with Forbidden Door originally slated for the venue.
Forbidden Door was later moved to Long Island, due to AEW and NJPW not wanting to share the costs of Arthur Ashe Stadium for the show.
WrestleTix noted several weeks ago that this year’s Grand Slam show was once again listed for Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 25, and that is now official.
Today, AEW officially announced that Grand Slam would be returning to Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday, September 25 for a special episode of Dynamite and Collision.
Tickets for the event are set to go on sale on Thursday, July 18, with the pre-sale tickets available tomorrow from 10am ET.
