An AEW star is set to undergo surgery for an injury they recently suffered during a match on AEW television.
During a recent episode of AEW Collision, Skye Blue took on Hikaru Shida in a match that had to be stopped due to an injury suffered by Blue.
Blue suffered an ankle injury after Shida landed awkwardly on her following a crossbody off the apron to the outside.
It was later confirmed that Skye Blue had suffered a broken ankle, and she underwent surgery for the injury.
Taking to Twitter, Blue’s boyfriend and fellow AEW star Kyle Fletcher shared a photo of her outside the day surgery:
