In the post-AEW Worlds End media scrum, Tony Khan directly addressed the departures of several AEW staff ahead of the new year.
Tony Khan commented on the departure of QT Marshall noting that he ‘would always be welcome to return,’ for his return and ‘any wrestling company in the world would be very lucky to have him’.
Also commenting on another end of the year departure, Tony Khan revealed that Andrade el Idolo’s contract is indeed up at the end of the year.
While Tony Khan seemed to allude that he expected a departure from el Idolo, he only had positive things to say about the star while noting that they had not come to an agreement on an additional contract.
Khan noting that he has “a ton of respect for Andrade el Idolo” and if that was his last match in AEW, he left on a very high note’ with great performances in the Continental Classic and since the beginning of Collision.
Also noting the departure of Rafael Morffi who appeared to be in the room, Tony Khan wished him well in his new position.
