An update has emerged on AJ Francis’ (fka Top Dolla) current contract status following his debut for TNA Wrestling.

A number of ex-WWE names showed up at Saturday’s (January 13) TNA Hard To Kill 2024 event, including AJ Francis, who had previously hinted that he’d be at the event.
After making his entrance and cutting a heel promo, Francis was then confronted by Joe Hendry, who debuted his own music video mocking the former WWE name.
The segment ultimately ended with Francis dropping Hendry with a vicious chokeslam.
While it appeared that Francis was establishing himself as the newest name on the TNA roster, Fightful Select reports that as of writing, Francis hasn’t signed with TNA Wrestling.

It was noted that Francis is expected to continue with TNA for now, indicating that he’ll either sign a deal soon, or be working as a free agent.
Francis was released by WWE during the September 2023 round of talent cuts.
The report also revealed that Eric Young has also been working on a handshake agreement with TNA.

Young notably wrestled during the Hard To Kill countdown show, teaming with Frankie Kazarian in a losing effort against Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards.
Ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, now Nic Nemeth, also made his TNA debut at Hard to Kill.
