WWE has announced that Maxxine Dupri of Alpha Academy will wrestle her second ever singles match on Monday Night Raw.
On the December 11 show, Dupri will face off against WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
This bout will be a non-title match, so no matter the result, Ripley will walk away with her championship.
WWE shared the following preview for the match:
A major matchup is set to take place as Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley battles Maxxine Dupri of Alpha Academy in non-title action.
Since aligning with Alpha Academy and training with Chad Gable and Otis, Dupri has made a name for herself inside the ring, but now she faces her greatest test in The Eradicator.
Maxxine Dupri has only wrestled five WWE matches in total. Her only singles match ahead of Monday’s show saw her defeat Valhalla on the July 31 edition of Raw.
She most recently stepped into the ring on December 5 edition of NXT, teaming with Chad Gable and Otis to best Lash Legend, Noam Dar & Oro Mensah of the Meta-Four.
Rhea Ripley will be a formidable opponent for Dupri, as Ripley hasn’t lost a televised singles match since losing to Liv Morgan on the May 29, 2022 edition of Raw.
Then again, Maxxine Dupri has never lost a singles match, so she’s got to be the favourite, right?
