Another upcoming CM Punk match following his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023 has been announced for Madison Square Garden.
At WWE Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk made his shocking return to the company for the first time in nearly a decade.
On the December 11 edition of WWE Raw, Punk officially decided to sign with Monday Night Raw and had a confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the ring.
Earlier today, it was announced that Punk will have one of his first matches back in a WWE ring when he faces “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio on the December 30 WWE live event from the KIA Forum in Los Angeles.
However, it now seems like this will not be Punk’s first match back nor his first bout with the former NXT North American Champion.
Per the MSG Twitter account, CM Punk has just been announced for the December 26 WWE live event from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The post reads:
JUST ANNOUNCED: CM Punk will be live at The Garden on Dec 26 for his first match in WWE in over 9 years as he goes one on one with ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at the @WWE LIVE Holiday Tour.

Punk will face The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio at this event as well. This bout will mark Punk’s first at MSG in 10 years.
CM Punk has also been announced as the second entrant for the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
