Randy Orton recently signed a new contract with WWE which would reportedly keep him in the company until 2029.

On August 12 a report came via Fightful Select, with sources within WWE confirming that Orton had re-signed for five years.
With the WWE SmackDown star set to face Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin, The Viper has now publicly addressed his contract status via an interview with MARCA (translated from Spanish by Google Translate), saying:

“I know you’re alluding to Cody [Rhodes] and his title and maybe I’d like to do it later, but I don’t think I should rush it.
“I’m going to keep doing this for a long time. I just signed a five-year contract extension and I don’t have to rush it.
“I’ve got all the time in the world as far as I’m concerned. I feel great. I feel healthy.”

Cody Rhodes will put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Kevin Owens at the August 31 PLE, as revealed on the August 9 episode of SmackDown.
Orton had previously revealed that he is, to his knowledge, the only person to wrestle for one company in his whole career, having signed with WWE in 2000.
He would note that he sees himself staying as ‘part of the WWE family’ potentially taking a producer, coach or trainer role in the future.
Orton returned at WWE Survivor Series in November 2023 after an eighteen-month absence due to injury issues accumulated over the years.
