Ahead of her confirmed final match for Marigold, former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia is set to finish up in Japan before heading to WWE.
As previously reported, Giulia signed with WWE during WrestleMania 40 weekend in April 2024.
Before heading to the United States to start with the company, the former World of Stardom Champion helped start Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion in Japan.
Giulia then announced that her final match with Marigold will take place on Monday, August 19.
PWInsider confirmed that this will be Giulia’s final appearance in Japan before going to WWE to start full-time.
Giulia is expected to start on the WWE NXT brand upon her arrival in the company.
It remains to be seen when the Japanese star will make her official WWE debut at the time of this writing, but NXT No Mercy takes place on September 1 and could be a potential destination..
