Matt & Jeff Hardy recorded new content with WWE in Cleveland, the host city of SummerSlam on August 3, 2024.
It was reported, by PW Insider, that the Hardy Boyz had met with WWE on August 2, 2024, ahead of SummerSlam.
Further reporting came from Fightful Select, stating that Matt & Jeff Hardy had been ‘spotted outside of one of the WWE talent hotels.’
Fightful Select would go on to reveal that the pair were in Cleveland for WrestleCon and had been ‘invited to film interviews and content’.
Matt Hardy revealed details of the work they were doing on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, saying:
“We get on that plane, we get to Cleveland, as soon as we get to Cleveland, we were met by a WWE driver who picked us up to take us to the WWE TV hotel where we went and recorded some media, some digital for those guys which is going to air on some of their platforms coming up in the future.
“It was very cool, it was very cool to interact with a lot of the guys. We walked in, very first person we saw was Jey Uso which was cool. Saw a couple of the other boys, saw some of the office.
“We got some really neat stuff that’s going to be coming out on WWE digital over the course of probably the next three, four, five months.”
The report from Fightful Select noted that some of the content recorded ‘is for active series, as well as the potential of Hardy-specific presentations’.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently in TNA Wrestling, although working without a contract.
