An update has emerged on the status of Charlotte Flair, who appeared to suffer an injury during Friday’s December 8 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Flair faced off against Asuka on this week’s show. While The Queen appeared to be fine before the commercial break, when the show returned, Flair was limping, but managed to finish the match.
Fan footage of a botched top rope spot has been circulating on social media following the bout, potentially revealing the moment Flair suffered an injury.

PWInsider has confirmed that Flair was helped to the back after officials after the bout. The report noted that there was concern among talent about Flair’s knee.
Per PWInsider, Flair was evaluated by WWE’s medical team. It was stated that nothing additional has been confirmed at the time of writing.
Flair ultimately lost the match, with Bayley distracting Flair long enough for Asuka to get a roll-up pinfall victory.
