An AEW star has cut a passionate promo following their defeat in the opening round of the AEW Continental Classic.
AEW’s inaugural Continental Classic tournament kicked off on last night’s (November 22) episode of Dynamite, with the first three matches from the Gold League taking place on the show.
The matches saw Swerve Strickland and Jay White defeat Jay Lethal and Rush respectively, with the main event seeing Jon Moxley kick off his tournament with a victory over Mark Briscoe.
After the match, a bloody Mark Briscoe gave his respect to Moxley, with the two shaking hands in the ring.
AEW has now uploaded a digital exclusive interview with Mark Briscoe, where he reflected on his journey from a tag team competitor to a singles wrestler, and said he may be down, but he’s not out.
The Blue League of the Continental Classic will get underway on this week’s Collision show.
The opening Blue League matches will pit Brody King against Eddie Kingston and Daniel Garcia against Claudio Castagnoli.
