Since joining AEW in April 2023, Bullet Club Gold leader Jay White has been featured frequently and recently finished his feud with MJF.
Their program together started on the September 27 AEW Dynamite, with White taking shots at MJF over his relationship with Adam Cole.
It would also see the return of the Devil character which continues to be a hot topic for AEW fans on social media.
The feud came to a head at AEW Full Gear on November 18, 2023, and initially saw Adam Cole come out to defend MJF’s World Championship against White.
MJF had been ‘injured’ on the pre-show but would return to the arena to defend his championship against White.
The AEW World Champion would retain at Full Gear thanks to an assist from Cole that saw the Dynamite Diamond Ring play its part.
White is now a participant in the AEW Continental Classic that is currently taking place.
Breaking down the participants, Wade Keller of PW Torch shared an insight into White’s thoughts on the MJF feud, reporting:
“White wasn’t thrilled, based on what I’ve been told, how things went with the build and the match against MJF, so he might be motivated to shine in this tournament.”
Keller notes that winning the tournament could “reshape how fans perceive him” and that White is “still among the top choices for Tony Khan to build around as a top-top star in his company for years to come.”
White picked up a win in his first tournament match on Dynamite this week against LFI leader Rush.
