Former AEW World Champion MJF has addressed signing a multi-million dollar contract with All Elite Wrestling.
Since 2022, Maxwell Jacob Friedman hyped up his free agency by referring to it as “The Bidding War of 2024” where he would pit WWE and AEW against one another to sign him.
However, it was revealed after returning to All Elite Wrestling at Double Or Nothing that MJF had signed a new deal with the promotion.
On September 20, MJF took to social media to address signing a multi-million dollar contract with AEW. He wrote:
It's almost like MJF quietly signed a multi million

dollar contract and AEW won or something?!?!?

MJF last wrestled in a win over Daniel Garcia at AEW All Out 2024. Post match, Garcia delivered an avalanche piledriver on Friedman to lay him out.
