There has been an update on WWE talent expecting to speak with ‘higher ups’ about CM Punk ahead of his Raw return tonight.
CM Punk made his return to WWE after almost 10 years to close out this past weekend’s Survivor Series premium live event in Chicago.
Punk’s return came after he was terminated from AEW back on September 2 following the investigation into the backstage incident at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
The backstage reaction to Punk’s return has said to have been mixed from those within the company, and we now have an update on the roster’s stance on Punk ahead of his Raw return tonight.
Per Fightful Select, many WWE talent expect to speak with higher ups and gain some assurances about Punk and how he will be in the company moving forward.
Punk, as well as Randy Orton, are set to be on tonight’s Raw show in Nashville following Survivor Series.
WWE has since announced that the show will be commercial free for the first hour.
